The Aligned Model
Developed across twenty-two years and more than twenty thousand hours of transformational work. Not a theory. A way home — walked, tested, and refined one life at a time.

"God is not God's name. God is our name for that which is greater than all, yet present in each."
— Bishop John Shelby Spong
You don't need a religion to feel what he's pointing at. There is more to you than a body and a story — an energy that animates your life. It moves from one of two places: love, the energy of the True Self. Or fear, the energy of the self we constructed to survive.
Every thought, choice, and action is rooted in either love or fear. The work begins by bringing greater awareness to the unconscious beliefs and patterns shaping our choices — and ultimately, the reality we create.
Disconnection happens in layers. The Model names each one — so you can find yourself on the map.
1 · True Self
Your essence: wisdom, gifts, purpose. The best of who you are.
2 · Negative Imprints
Experiences that marked you and quietly shaped how you think and relate.
3 · Wounds & Fears
What you learned to worry about, protect yourself from, and be afraid of.
4 · False Beliefs
Untruths you accepted about yourself because of what you lived through.
5 · Ego Coping
Strategies to stay safe and get needs met — control, judgment, performance, pleasing.
6 · Masks & False Identities
The aspects of your identity and persona shaped by trauma to secure love, safety, approval, or belonging — often becoming the expression furthest removed from your true self.
The journey of this work moves inward — from the masks and personas, down through every layer, releasing what no longer serves. What remains is what was always there.
The Two Tracks of Transformation
01 · Ego Work
The ego is the center of conscious life, and it has two faces. When it's healthy, it's a remarkable instrument: it grounds you, activates you, helps you make clear decisions, and relate skillfully to the people you love and lead.
But the ego can also become neurotic — quietly running your life from the shadows, locking you into identities constructed long ago to feel safe. Ego work isn't about dismantling who you are. It's about distinguishing the healthy structure from the neurotic grip, and releasing what no longer serves the life you're here to live.
02 · Consciousness Work
If ego work is psychological, consciousness work is spiritual. Not religious. Not abstract. Grounded in time-honoured practices that don't offer a guaranteed outcome — they create the conditions for transformation.
Meditation, visualization, body disciplines, attention to inner wisdom and recurring dreams. These aren't techniques aimed at a target. They're a way of opening — of making yourself available to dimensions of your own experience the thinking mind cannot reach.
Both tracks live at the heart of Aligned. These have never been separate conversations. We just finally stop treating them that way.
How Transformation Actually Happens
